Trails are open. Wet start to the weekend with rain this morning. Looks to be dry for the afternoon and better riding late afternoon and early evening. Expect some soft and greasy spots here and there. Sunday looks better at this point.
We had a great week of leaf clearing before wind and rain Friday. Overall the trail is in great shape, some areas thicker with leaves. Just two weeks left to get a LagChilada in before dirt season comes to an end on November 3rd.
Thanks everyone that came to “Maplelag Day” Saturday. A fantastic day of riding and we appreciate all the support with purchases of Maplelag Memberships
Nice job to the riders completing the LagChilada challenge this month….couple more weeks to complete the challenged before trails closed for deer hunting season…keep the wheels moving!
Be aware trees/organic forest matter can fall at anytime and assume full responsibility when riding.
Maplelag trails can be described as as “old school” or classic style mountain biking.
For first time riders to Maplelag, a good beginner loop is the Citizen loop and Sukkerwest at the end of the driveway. A intermediate to advance loop is the Sport Comp Expert loop. . Click here for more about the challenge
Thanks for the support of the Maplelag trails and maintenance.(Maplelag is privately family owned and operated resort with no outside funding. We are happy share the dirt and appreciate the support!)
