Yet another beautiful Fall day with a mix of sun/clouds and a stiff breeze from the northwest ushering in some cooler air. Today we worked on the Pumpkin Run course, clearing forest litter and blowing leaves off the trail. Some incredible Fall color remains on sections of the trail and should be one of the more colorful Pumpkin Runs in the history of the event. We will continue working on the rest of the trails used for the Pumpkin Run. Should be a great day on Saturday. Photos from today.

Trail Report
A beautiful day in the woods. Trails drying out nicely after 3.5″ of rain over the weekend. Not much trail work other than Jim clearing out some underbrush near Sap Run ski trail. An early evening ride on the mountain bike course founds beautiful conditions. Expected the rain and wind from the weekend to take down the a lot of the leaves but on the north facing slopes, there is some incredible Fall color. A ride on the mountain bike course early this evening found fantastic conditions and amazingly dry….no mud. Things are looking great for the Pumpkin Run this weekend.

Trail Report
A wet weekend with almost 3.5″ of rain falling. Woods are damp for sure but still very much alive with Fall color. Trail work on hold the next few days but we should dry out and be back in action later this week.
Trail Report
Another morning of frost. Always exciting to see a little white on the ground and the roofs very white as well. We are making good progress on the trails as far as the mowing and clearing of deadfall. The western trails have been getting mowed this week and things are looking great. The first day of October was about as good as it gets for Fall weather.

Trail Report
Cooler temps today with a breeze from the south. The colors on the ski trails are at their peak right now and it is a beautiful time in the woods. We are working on the new mountain bike singletrack this afternoon. Getting excited for the first snowfall of the year!!
