Ski Trail

Trail Report

One inch of new snow early this morning. Every little bit helps but need a few more inches to resume grooming. Thin coverage on the trails and we need 3-4″ of good snow to “open” the trails.  The Breck and St Paul Highland Park ski teams are at Maplelag this weekend for a ski camp. Most of the skiing taking place on the lake with a few skiers checking out the trails.  Temps are pleasant and no wind on the lake making for nice skiing on the lake.

New Years Eve Celebration

Featuring TJ the DJ. TJ mixes up the show with a variety of fun games and dances and will play everyones favorites. With our great sound and lighting system and our new dance floor we have some great party times. And it wouldn’t be Saturday night without Grandpa Jim’s specialty of lots of buttered, old fashioned popcorn(which by the way, we only use white popcorn). There is never a blue cloud at Maplelag because of our Day 1 policy of being smoke free in the lodge. You are more than welcome to bring your own spirits.

Variety Show

Maplelag’s famous variety show featuring every kind of talent. We’ve had almost every type of act imaginable from wizards, karate demonstrations, and reciting the presidents or states. You can even stand with a frozen fish and we will applaud. Come prepared (or un-prepared!) with a musical instrument, family skit, funny story, or a song to sing. This is a special highlight of the weekend and a favorite of our repeat guests.
