Another great weekend of Moosejaw, old time dance, music, clogging and skiing! Latest trail report on the trail report page.
Saturday a warm day by afternoon, softening the snow but still good reports coming from the trail. Best skiing mid morning before snow got to soft but folks still out in the afternoon enjoying the beautiful day and snow on the trails! We are still holding on to a good base and folks have been skiing enjoying the spring like conditions. Saturday night cooling down, freezing the trails at dusk. Select grooming Saturday night and Sunday morning. Spring skiing conditions and Sunday should be a fine day to ski!

Temp warming up today for the first time since we have had January like weather the last couple weeks. Still some great skiing being reported in the morning, bit sticky in the afternoon but with paste wax applied to the no wax zone and glide zones waxed, all fine. With all the fresh snow as of late, the snow is most sticky the first day it warms up. We are in Spring skiing mode and conditions can vary from hour to hour! We have a good base of snow and should have some nice skiing combined with good timing but any day with snow on the ground to ski is a good day and much better than not having snow at all!! Should have some nice skiing this week before possible warmer temps on weekend.
Compacted base on trail between 4-8″ and snow depth in woods between 12-18″.
