Ski Trail Report

Fresh snow! Total accumulation from Sunday’s storm around 8-9″.

We rollpacked, combed and leveled all the inner trails as well as Twin Lakes to the west and North Loup to the north on Sunday. End of the day we set track on Sukkerbusk and Sap Run. Today we will be back out packing the trails we groomed today and also hitting the rest of the north and western trails. New track set on Mother North Star and track reset on Sap Run, Sukkerbusk and Mother Hen. Tomorrow we will comb out the skate trails Skaters Waltz and the extensions and North Loup. Track to be set on Rootin Tootin, JibFly and Twin Lakes. New snow a great addition to the existing base and the trails are taking shape nicely and skiing very nice.

A great day on the trails Saturday and good seeing folks out. We had a 3km loop open and groomed after snow this week was groomed into the existing crusty base. Thanks for sending in the reports!

Fat Bike Trail Report

Snowy Sunday! New snow on Sunday around 8-9″. We will begin grooming the designated fat bike trails, Bullhead Bootleg, Twin Lakes, SukkerWest and the inner segments used as connectors once we get caught up on the ski trail grooming.

A great day on the trails Saturday for “Global Fat Bike Day”.

Snowy Sunday! As of 7pm, around 8-9″ of new snow since midnight. We rollpacked, combed and leveled all the inner trails as well as Twin Lakes to the west and North Loup to the north. End of the day we set track on Sukkerbusk and Sap Run. Monday we will be back out packing the trails we groomed today and also hitting the rest of the north and western trails. New snow a great addition to the existing base and the trails are taking shape nicely.

Happy Global Fat Bike Day! A great day on the trails with really nice riding. Snow falling Saturday evening. If enough new snow to groom, we will begin grooming the fat bike trails once we get groom out the ski trails.

Current conditions: crusty frozen base with variable surface conditions including a light dusting of snow. Open trails include Twin lakes singletrack, Bullhead Bootleg singletrack and SukkerWest singletrack segments.

Ski Trail

Ski Trail Report

A great day on the trails and good seeing folks out. We had a 3km loop open and groomed after snow this week was groomed into the existing crusty base.

Snow falling Saturday evening and we plan to be out in the morning rolling and packing any new snow. Focus will be on the inner trails, setting track on Sukkerbusk if conditions warrant. Plan is to work on the outer trails Sunday evening and Monday.

The 3km loop starts near the freight house near the lodge and includes three segments consisting of Sukkerbusk and Skaters Waltz. Follow the groomed segments using the soccer field trail to access the loop. Suicide Hill is also groomed out. The end of return of Sap Run and Skinny Field are used as connectors to access the segments. The base is hard and bumpy but the surface has some good texture. Watch for icy areas when walking in the parking lot!

Snow tonight and tomorrow. We are always ready to pack and groom any new snow!
