Sunshine with rising temperates this morning and a breeze from the west. A great day to adventure in the woods on tap whether it be skiing, hiking or fat biking.
Around 5km of trail open and groomed. Latest grooming with a little snow harvesting was yesterday Thursday afternoon. The groomed loop has a very thin base but rock solid. Areas of ice with a few small bare spots but avoidable. The groomed loop begins behind the far freight house shop. Ski through the soccer field and access at the end going either direction on Skaters Waltz guided by the cones and grooming. We do not recommend skiing on the trails not groomed with the hills being unpredictable. The western and northern trails are open to hiking and walking for guests staying at the resort this weekend.
Monday we packed Sukkerbusk, Twin Lakes, North Loup and Sap Run for patrol and potential future skiing purposes. These trails would also be used for the Lotvola Cup course we hope to hold short notice on March 3rd if more snow and favorable temperatures. Stay tuned!
Fat bike trails are open again. Latest fat bike trail report.
Please no walking on the ski or fat bike trails. Snowshoe trails are open for hiking and hiking possible on the far side of the ski trails.
Trail passes can be purchased on the products page.
Maplelag current conditions including data from the new Maplelag weather station can be found on the Weather page. Total snowfall since November 1st at 14″. Current snow depth is 1-3″ and compacted base on trails is 0-2″.
