Trail Report

Beautiful start to the week, feels a bit more like Summer than Fall but definitely looking like Fall as the colors of Autumn are on display. The leaves are slower to change this year compared to other years. We are expecting a spectacular fall color season thanks to the above average moisture from last winter continuing with weekly rain throughout the summer and this early fall.

It has been busy summer and start to fall on the ski and mountain bike trails mowing/brushing and constantly clearing deadfall and cutting/splitting firewood. We will continue working on the trails up until the snow flies! A few storms and wind events this summer bringing down the usual amount of trees, no structural damage to any buildings. Overall, the summer has been slightly above precipitation with average temperatures at Maplelag making for great conditions for trail work.

Mountain bike trails are open, weather permitting. Click on the mountain bike report for latest conditions. Trails are closed to horses and motorized use.
