Trail Report

Cooler weather moving in overnight after a summer like day yesterday. No rain overnight. Feels more like fall but the leaves are slower to change this year compared to other years. Compared to other years, it seems like we are 5-7 days behind. However, there is definitely color popping up here and there and things should move fast the next week.

It has been busy summer and start to fall on the ski and mountain bike trails mowing/brushing and constantly clearing deadfall and cutting/splitting firewood. We will continue working on the trails up until the snow flies! A few storms and wind events this summer bringing down the usual amount of trees, no structural damage to any buildings. Overall, the summer has been slightly above precipitation with average temperatures at Maplelag making for great conditions for trail work.

Mountain bike trails are open, weather permitting. Click on the mountain bike report for latest conditions. Trails are closed to horses and motorized use.
