All 25 miles of mountain bike trails are open. Tacky/dry surface conditions. Beautiful spring day to ride. Recent rain is just what the deck needed to make “hero dirt”. We have been clearing on the singletrack as much as we can, keeping up with the wind and blowdowns with most of the entire 25 mile LagChilada loop cleared the past few weeks with leaf blowers.
We try to clear any new deadfall as soon as possible but be aware trees/organic forest matter can fall at anytime and assume full responsibility when riding.
Good seeing all the riders out this spring which helps ride in the trail. Nice job to riders completing the LagChilada challenge this past weekend!
Recommended trails are all the inner trails and the Twin Lakes race loop to the west. Sukkerwest and Bullhead Bootleg rolling good as well. For first time riders to Maplelag, a good beginner loop is the Citizen loop and Sukkerwest at the end of the driveway. A intermediate to advance loop is the Sport Comp Expert loop. The entire 25 LagChilada loop is open and all the LagChilada signs are out. Click here for more about the challenge!
