Snapping Through August

aug22-1 — Snapping turtle crossing the road yesterday, heading to the lake after coming from a slough in the woods.

August is clipping along as we transition to Fall events at Maplelag. The snapping turtles have been on the move as some of the smaller sloughs are drying up. Welcome Wolves XC running camp and Nature Conservancy retreat this week! The Laddies Loppet course is taking great shape and riding has been excellent. Latest report with photos.
