Trail Report

Beautiful morning on the trails. Temp not quite as cold last night as forecasted with the low “only” at -9 and the temp climbing above 0 before lunch. Total sunshine and light winds. Trails groomed up very nice this morning. All skate trails were groomed and new tracks on Mother Hen, Sukkerbusk, Rootin Tootin, JibFly, Lucky’s Loype, North Loup, Twin Lakes, Double Green and Kristin’s Kutoff. The tracks on the other trails are in great shape with a few leaves here and there as the only negative. Should be a fantastic weekend of skiing with favorable forecast.

Trail Report

A very light dusting of snow last night. The wind has picked up as a cold front pushes through. Temp has dropped to 4 below after a morning temp around 2 degrees.    Great skiing conditions exist and with warmer temps forecasted on the weekend, should have some very nice skiing. Bit cooler skiing the next few days but bundled up proper and it is just fine.  Folks hitting the trail today reporting nice conditions and cold not an issue with protection in the woods. We plan on grooming most of the trail system Friday touching up the skate trails and resetting tracks where needed.
