A beautiful start to the month of June with a rare still evening. Latest trail report.
A wet start to the week with over an inch of rain on Monday and light showers on Tuesday morning. The woods have exploded big time as far as greening and the leaves coming out. Lot of new wild plants and flowers coming to life. Cooler temps middle of the week last week slowing things down a bit but beautiful time in the woods. The mountain bike course is riding nicely and in good shape. Latest bike trail report. Spring is in full swing with wildlife quite active and birds filling the forest with chirps and calls.

“It was Memorial Weekend. We, along with all of Anne and Aaron’s best friends and loving family made the trip up to Callaway, Minnesota. Destination: the INCREDIBLE Maplelag Resort. A special place where the women in Aaron’s family gather every winter to go cross country skiing and bond over hot chocolate and cozy fires. Without hesitation, Anne and Aaron knew the wedding had to take place at the lodge.
When we arrived, we were blown away with the property, the views, the textures, cabins, and the list goes on… but then, we saw Anne’s wedding dress… and we were really speechless. Until Anne slipped into her dress, and among many tears in the room, I was moved to silence. Anne was more stunning than there are words in the dictionary. I am not kidding. On their wedding day, Aaron couldn’t have been any cuter, or loved Anne any harder. That is why rain, hail, sun, downpour, muddy puddles, and moving an outdoor ceremony inside, had absolutely no effect on how PERFECT perfect this wedding was. In a million years, people are still going to remember this wedding. It was that outstanding.”
