With the majority of leaves falling from the trees the past week, we have begun clearing leaves off the main ski trails. Clearing leaves allows the ground to cool down faster, set in frost and able to ski on a few inches of snow on the grassy surface.

Snow falling both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Quickly melting off by the afternoon. However, always exciting to see the first snowfall of the year!
Winter is on our minds with cooler weather on the move and a winter like storm (rain only) the past 24 hours. Thanks to everyone who has confirmed their winter reservation including all the high school Nordic ski teams. We are getting excited for the winter season! Reminder, deposits are due for all existing reservations!
