Crisp, cold and sunny was the temp today!! Morning low at -17, rising to -8 for a high. Cold, for sure, but still folks out enjoying the fantastic conditions and fresh tracks set early this morning on Sap Run, Mother Hen, Sukkerbusk, Twin Lakes, JibFly and Mother North Star trails. Skaters Waltz groomed early as well than groomed again a couple of times in the afternoon pulling snow from the sides. The snow is really starting to pile up after 8″ of fresh snowfall over the weekend. No official measurements taken the past few days but the base is building up nicely in the 8″ range and snow depth in the woods between 16-24″! Grooming Monday on trails used for DL Invite on Tuesday as well as tracking on Rootin Tootin and Bullhead possibly. Thanks to everyone who came and stayed at Maplelag over the Holidays.
