Trails are open. Steady temperatures overnight in the teens with high moisture and a very thin coating of new snow. Overall the trails are skiing very nice for early season and we are off to a great start with the base we have. Today we plan to pack and comb out Bullhead lake trail
Yesterday we combed out Twin Lakes, Rootin Tootin, Mother North Star, Single Green, Kristin’s Kutoff, Eira Bikwadinaa Hill, Skaters extension and North Loup. These trails are a bit more rough in spots but we are firming up the base to be best prepared for the next snowfalls.
Best track skiing is on Sukkerbusk and Sap Run and best skating on Skaters Waltz. Extension skiing fine as well. We need another 1-3″ to set full depth tracks on more trails otherwise still some very nice early season skiing to be had and no reason not to ski! All the trails are open, use extra caution if venturing on the trails not recommended.
We have been grooming daily this week, working on all the trails and filling in thin areas. Tuesday we packed out Roy’s Run, Wavy Gravy and Island Lake trails just with the snowmobile. Next snowfall we will comb out and set a track if enough new snow on the above singletrack trails.
A great Thanksgiving week of skiing thanks to the early snowfall. Thank you to everyone that came out to ski and supported the trails with season pass purchases. Day passes can be purchased here.

We had a great Autumn of Fall grooming clearing leaves and debris off the trails and the new snow is packing in well with the clean deck before the snow.
We cleared over 600 trees since the Solstice 2025 storm. Big thanks to everyone that has helped!
A relatively dry fall. Total snowfall in November at 7″. October precipitation at 2.7″ and around 1″ in September. Total precipitation ytd (rain) at Maplelag is at 25.12″.
Support the trails! Day and season pass purchases help us offset costs to maintain the trails. Thanks everyone for the support.
