Ski Trail Report

Trails open with early season conditions. Another beautiful frosty morning with the trees covered in frost. We have received 6″ of snow the past 6 days and have been grooming daily since it first started snowing November 20th.

Trails will be open on Thanksgiving.

Skinnyski.com trail reports

There are no tracks set but trails are open for no track classic skiing. Best trails to ski on for classic at this time are Sukkerbusk and JibFly. Best trail to skate ski on is Skaters Waltz. Recommend to bypass the Kamikaze hill section using Sap Run as a connector. Please do not skate ski on other trails as we prepare them to open and track for classic.

We will be packing on Island Lake and Wavy Gravy trails to the west and Roy’s Run to the north today. Trails groomed Monday include Sap Run, Mother Hen, Loon Return, JibFly, Mother North Star, Rootin Tootin, Sukkerbusk, Skaters Waltz and the extension north, North Loup and Twin Lakes. Although we have been grooming on most of the trail system, we are grooming more to freeze down and prepare the base for the next snowfalls. If venturing on the outer trails, please use extra caution.

Rough/thin/bare spots. (No tracks set.) Recommended to ski on the early season loop that consists of east sides of Sukkerbusk and Skaters Waltz using Sap Run and Rootin Tootin trails as connectors to make a 4km loop. Sukkerbusk is also good with just a few rough spots.

Part of the bike trails are open for riding. Bike Trail Report.
