Cooler weather moving back in after a frontal passage and a couple hot and humid days. A welcomed 1/2″ of rain Tuesday night was great to settle the dust and freshen up the green. It.s been a great month for trail work thanks to dry conditions and pleasant temps. Overall it has been a unseasonably cool month making it very nice for working in the woods. The first part of July we received around 3″ of rain but could use rain as conditions are very dry now.
We have been busy on the trails this summer mowing, clearing deadfall, cutting firewood and working on the mountain bike trails. We are mowing almost daily on the ski trails and will continue up until the snow flies. Wildlife active and on the move!
The mountain bike trails are open for riding. Click here for latest update. Maplelag trails are closed to all motorized use and horses. We continue with trail tuning as we constantly work on the 64km of ski trails for upcoming ski season and maintain 25 miles of mountain bike trail.
