Ski Trail Report

Trails are open for skiing and fat biking. Nice seeing a good group of folks out this past weekend. Spring conditions in place which consist of faster skiing on crusty/icy snow in the morning than softening as the day progress. Today will be a bit icier most of the day with heavy overcast and temperatures below or near freezing. We did groom on Skaters Waltz, tenderizing the surface and made for nice skiing in the afternoon and evening.

Grooming plans: We are keeping an eye on the much talked about storm Tuesday and Wednesday. Depending on actual snowfall and wind will determine grooming but right now we will plan to groom Sap Run, Sukkerbusk and North Loup for classic setting tracks or a track and Skaters Waltz and the skate lane on North Loup for skating.

Total snowfall this season at 79″. Compacted base on trail 9-14″.

(Trail maps posted here)

The Brant cabin available as a warming area with restrooms and sitting area and tables, parking available across from Brant cabin as well.
