The current El NinÒ this season has not been kind for snow lovers and going down as one of the strongest on record based on some accounts. Click here for an article. Forecast does not look the best moving forward for snow but things can change quick and we are ready for more white to fall from the sky! The trails are open for hiking/walking etc.for guests staying a the resort.
The lake is now ok for skating on the east side near Maplelag. Guests have been skating the past few days.
Bike trails are open for fat biking/winter riding, provided temp is below 34. Watch for icy spots.

December 28th, 2023. The cold temps at night have frozen the surface down again and the skating is good, all things considered. Trails are open after a hard freeze overnight. Morning low checked in at 18 degrees. The deck is rolling good, all things considered and should be more consistent conditions on the weekend after a little warm up this afternoon.
Once again we will plan to groom around 25km of trail for fat biking this coming winter season. The main loops groomed are Bullhead Bootleg and Twin Lakes singletrack with inner segments to connect to make a “FatLagChilada”.

Freezing fog to report this morning. Temperature finally dropped below 32 last night setting up the surface on the trails and grounds. Trails are closed this afternoon with warmer temps in place. We had a good day of riding Christmas on a snow/crust layer. Looks to cool down again tonight and riding should be possible in morning tomorrow.
