Minnesota Forest Resources Council group enjoying the beautiful morning on Thursday while on a hike of the Maplelag trails. Updated trail report with new Fall photos on the trail report page.
After 3/4ths of an inch to start the week, it has been a very nice week to be in the woods with few bugs and pleasant conditions. Really some incredible weather this month of September. The leaves really haven’t changed that much the past few week but we are certainly getting closer to the peak. Folks staying at Maplelag this week have been on the trails enjoying the beautiful conditions including a tour of part of the trails and forest management at Maplelag by the Minnesota Forest Resource Council group.
The trails are open at no charge for hiking, running and biking and closed to horse and motorzied travel. We are working on the trails, preparing them to be in the best possible condition before the snow flies.
