Trail Report
Light snow falling the past 24 hours has accumulated to an inch or so. Even saw the sun for a few hours Tuesday morning!! Light winds and mid teens for temps. Beautiful conditions on the trails. Most of the snow from the previous weekend storm is still hanging on to the trees creating a truly winter wonderland feel. Yesterday Island Lake trail was packed, cleared of face slapping brush and groomed with a track set. Mother Hen, Bullhead and bootleg extension groomed with new tracks and Skaters Waltz combed for grooming today. All the trails are now open and groomed. We continue to clip and clear brush on the trails that was brought down from the heavy snow. The compacted base on trail is 6-10″ and the snow depth in the woods is 15-25″. Ski conditions are excellent with powder/packed powder surface conditions. We will re-groom the entire trail system before the weekend. Chance of more snow later in the weekend with more average temperatures.

Trail Report
Incredible conditions on the trails. Snow from last weekends storm is still hanging nicely on the trees. Sunshine, ten degrees and light winds pretty hard to top the condition on Saturday. Quite a few people also hitting the trails at night enjoying the full moon. All trails open, groomed and tracked except Island Lake trail and bootleg extension because of all the downed branches. Skaters waltz and Skaters extension groomed for skating. North Loup groomed with singletack down the middle. The compacted base on the trail is 6-9″ and the snow depth in the woods is 15-25″.

Trail Report
Powder /packed powder 3 degrees, sunny, light winds, scattered twigs and branches and hanging limbs. Excellent skiing being reported. Few slow spots from windblow yesterday. The compacted base on the trail is 6-9″ and the snow depth in the woods is 15-25″. We have groomed the entire trail system 2-5 times this week except for Island Lake trail. The single track classic trails are slow going grooming wise with all the hanging limbs etc. but quite the experience to groom and ski through. Despite a morning low of -13, light winds and late January sunshine making for really nice conditions and pleasant real feel skiing. Grooming will continue tomorrow morning and on through the weekend, touching up the skate lanes and select classic trails.
