Just under 2″ of fresh snow overnight. The new snow was groomed in on all the double track classic trails, setting fresh tracks and a new track set on North Loup. Skate lanes left alone and skiing very nice with a firm base and new snow on top. The temp stayed under 30 degrees today but felt like a day at the beach considering a week ago it was almost 70 degrees colder!! The streets in town might be slushy but the snow remains dry on the Maplelag trails. Skate lanes will be groomed Friday morning and select classic trails will be groomed. Trails will be groomed throughout the weekend as needed. Compacted base 8-16″. Snow depth in woods 2-3 feet. 100% open on 64km. 57 km tracked for classic, 13km groomed for skating.
