Mountain Bike Trail Report

All 25 miles of mountain bike trails are open. Damp conditions with tacky riding surface this morning after a much needed half inch of rain or so the past 24 hours. The thick canopy of leaves prevented some of the rain from making it to the singletrack making for tacky riding conditions. Warm weather the end of the month has really brought the forest to life with leaves full circle and a nice assortment of wildflowers.

We have been leaf blowing on the entire course the past few weeks and touch up segments as needed and also try to clear any new deadfall as soon as possible but be aware trees/organic forest matter can fall at anytime and assume full responsibility when riding.

For first time riders to Maplelag, a good beginner loop is the Citizen loop and Sukkerwest at the end of the driveway. A intermediate to advance loop is the Sport Comp Expert loop. The entire 25 LagChilada loop is open and all the LagChilada signs are out. Click here for more about the challenge!

Day trail passes can be purchased here. and Season passes now available. Thanks for the support of the Maplelag trails and maintenance. Riders 18 and under no charge. (Maplelag is privately family owned and operated resort with no outside funding. We are happy share the dirt and appreciate the support!)
