Mountain Bike Trail Report

Trails are open. Surface conditions generally tacky. A much welcomed rain shower Thursday morning helping tack up the trail. Since it is early season, a bit softer deck, mainly in low areas, but for third week of April it’s really nice riding! Conditions had been very dry since the snow melted off and the frost went out. Just .12″ of precipitation but every bit helps! Looking at the forecast, should be a great weekend to ride and not cold enough to freeze the deck. Enjoy the early season riding….keep the wheels moving!

We are in the process of putting out secondary signage, Click here for Maplelag trail map. Also reference Strava or Trailforks. Enjoy the early season dirt! More updates to come!

We have blown out select segments on the inner trails, and will blow out more trail once underbrush comes up. Not having underbrush, the windy days blow leaves back on the trail. Generally the deck is rolling good for early season, be mindful of any deck matter. All major trees have been cleared from the trail but be aware trees can fall at any time and assume full responsibility!!

Recommended loop is the “sport comp expert” loop and Feeling Lucky. Also Sukkerwest at end of driveway is a good starter/warm up loop. Season passes now available. Thanks for the support of the Maplelag trails and maintenance.

Trail passes can be purchased here. Riders 18 and under no charge. (Maplelag is privately family owned and operated resort with no outside funding. We are happy share the dirt and appreciate the support!)
