The trails are open and skiing is great! Beautiful weekend of skiing. Not quite as warm on Saturday as forecasted keeping the snow cold and dry outside southern exposed sections that softened than glazed over in the late afternoon. Grooming this am on Roy’s Run, Bootleg extension and skaters waltz. Skate lanes groomed Friday morning as well as new track on Loon Return, JibFly and Wavy Gravy. Just under 3″ of new snow this week and grooming on the majority of the trail system. This will be the last weekend will be grooming most of the trail system! Get out and enjoy the best conditions of the year! Sunday looks to be a bit warmer which will slow the skiing down once the snow softens up but still plenty of snow to get out and enjoy the trails!
Busy day on the trails Tuesday with the Roosevelt 4th grade classes out for the day for skiing and sledding fun. Nice job to all the kids and teachers for organizing. Fun day!! (photos below)
