Ski Trail Report

Another hard freeze last night with the low recorded at 24 degrees. Last weeks snow has melted off and warmer day time temps are in place. We are back on the trails this week doing one final fall grooming push on the outer trails. Monday we finished Island Lake trail, Tuesday we finished Roy’s Run trail and today we are clearing Bullhead and the Bootleg extension. Grateful for this nice weather for late season trail tuning! Overall the trails are looking great and ready for the real snow to come!

We will continue working on the trails right up until the snow that sticks for the season. Last minute fine tuning will have the trails ready for skiing on minimal snow. We try to have a few trails open for skiing by Thanksgiving, weather permitting. Bike trails will open for fat biking/winter riding later this month once the ground is consistently frozen.

A wintery start to November with 3″ of snow one week ago. Snow falling on top of frozen ground and was enough reason for an early season groom! We enjoyed a couple days of early season skiing and good to see a few other people out! Snow returned on November 9th with 1″ falling.

Maplelag current conditions including data from the new Maplelag weather station can be found on the Weather page.

Season passes can be purchased on the products page.
