Trail Report

A beautiful start to the week after a relatively nice weekend. Trails drying up for the most part after rain on Friday. A few low spots still holding water as a result of high water tables. The leaves and underbrush are really starting to come along and the woods are looking great with the wild flowers blooming. The forest is alive with birds and other animal species moving through. A  handful of riders hitting the mountain bike trails over the weekend and reports were good.

The mountain bike trails are open for riding including the new Twin Lakes singletrack we completed last fall. We are putting out signs on the course but be aware of any un marked obstacles. There is no fee until June 1st to use the trails. Please park in the far parking lot by the first freight house and the trail can be accessed from the parking lot. The Laddies Loppet mountain bike course starts at the beginning of Skaters Waltz ski trail and is marked with with signs and black arrows. The Twin lakes singletrack starts off the main driveway to the west. There are no services available in the main lodge. Please pack your own water.  The trails are closed to horses and motorized vehicles.
