Ski Trail Report

Trails open. 1-2″ new snow past 24 hours. We groomed around 30km of trail Saturday morning, 15km skate only and 13km classic only. The new snow improving the skiing but still early season conditions, watch for thin areas etc. Hard base underneath the fresh snow taking off the hardness and should be a nice weekend of skiing. Just Ski!

Recommended trails to ski with the best coverage is on Sukkerbusk and JibFly for classic and Skaters Waltz for skating. We worked on Skaters Waltz this week building up the thin areas. Tracks set on Sap Run and Rootin Tootin as well. North Loup and the extension loops of SkatersWaltz also groomed Saturday morning for skating and cutover trails Single Green and Kristin’s Kutoff.

Has been a nice start to the ski season with good early season conditions. Great seeing so many people out so far this year, thanks for the reports and purchase of season passes.

Total snowfall this season at 13″. Compacted base on trail 1-4″.
