Trail Report

Incredible weather to start the month of June. Mostly dry and low humidity. Great time to be in the woods for trail works, just a few mosquitoes though! We have been busy on the trails mowing already with the grass starting to grow nicely and clearing deadfall along the way.

The woods are very lush and green with the recent warm temps and precipitation. Vibrant with the first wildflowers and greenery sprouting from the forest floor. Leaves on the trees budding and beginning the process to come full circle. More birds migrating in and fun to see scarlet tanagers in the forest recently. We have been clearing on the trails and also planting trees for spring trail work.
