- Beautiful conditions in the woods the past few days. The only thing missing is snow but we have been taking advantage of the dry weather and working on the trails, fine tuning here and there, clearing deadfall and putting up signs. There are sections of crusty snow patches here and there with Twin lakes trail holding the most snow. It won’t take much snow to open up Twin lakes and the other trails are in great shape as well. Signs of wildlife seen in the woods with tracks, beaver activity and the winter birds making sounds. Despite the mild temps, we have been cooling down nicely at nights and the lakes, ponds and sloughs are making good ice which is great before the snow comes. Little Sugarbush noisy last night as the ice expands and contracts.

- We received 4″ of snow mid November and were able to ski about 10 days including skiing on Thanksgiving before it got warm and melted off most of the snow.
- Skiing through the square field, November 25th, 2011 before getting warm later in the day melting most of the snow.

Trail Report
Just a dusting of snow to report from Saturday. Few patches from earlier snowfalls here and there on the trail system. Cooler weather has settled in helping freeze down the trails. We did enjoy skiing over the Thanksgiving weekend up until today. We are ready for more snow!

Despite the record warmth temps the past few days, we have been able to hang on to a little bit of snow. We are still skiing on some sections just because we love to ski! The areas hanging on to snow are the north facing sections. Not great conditions but has been fun nonetheless. Chance of snow the rest of the weekend and the areas that have coverage, will be a nice base for any snow that does fall. Think Snow!
Riding on the mountain bike trails is done for the year and the last report of the year is posted.
