Fat Bike Trails are open. InnerWest loop and skate ski trails open for riding. Plan icy conditions after freezing down from very warm day on Monday. Studded tires recommended. Base is rock solid after freezing down from last weeks warm weather. There will be icy spots and use extreme caution in the parking lot and start area and on south facing segments Twin Lakes. Chance of snow later today.
To access the InnerWest loop, take Skaters Waltz and follow the skate trail until signs indicated where to turn. To just ride Twin Lakes and SukkerWest, access from the driveway. We will also have the skate trails open on Skaters Waltz extension and North Loup.
Trails are open. The deck froze down overnight after a very warm Monday that saw the high temperature in the mid 50’s. There was significant melting and some water pooling in spots but the coverage remains, albeit, icy. The start area is very icy, use the soccer field connector to access Skaters Waltz and continue on Skaters or take a left on Sap Run to use as a connector.
This morning we groomed on a condensed loop of Skaters Waltz and all of North Loup. We coned off the intersections to avoid. Use extra caution for areas of thin coverage, icy spots etc. We are most likely done classic grooming for the year unless new snow. We will continue grooming this condensed loop of Skaters Waltz and North Loup for freestyle skiing as long as we can.
Season and day passes can be purchased here. A purchase of a season pass helps us maintain the trails year round and provide the best skiing possible even in low snow year. Thank you!

Trails are open. A really nice morning and early afternoon of spring skiing. Hard to believe with the warm temps but the base has been holding on. Today it did get quiet, warm with high temperature of 55. The base is seasoned and holding on. Already freezing down by 8pm. There is a slight chance of snow tomorrow. We will plan to groom at some point. Right now we just plan to skate/freestyle groom on a condensed loop of Skaters Waltz and all of North Loup. Use extra caution for areas of thin coverage, icy spots etc. We are most likely done classic grooming for the year unless new snow. We will continue grooming Skaters Waltz and North Loup for skating as long as we can. Skaters Waltz groomed Sunday evening.
