Ski Trail Report

13km of trail open. 9km tracked for classic, 4km groomed skate. 3-4″ of new snow the past 24 hours. Grooming Saturday afternoon on Sap Run, Sukkerbusk, a short loop to the west and the easy loop of JibFly setting track. 4km of Skaters Waltz packed and combed. The trails are very skiable and considering there wasn’t much base left before this new snow which was very dense and moisture laden, groomed out nice. There are thin areas and recommended to not use best skis. JibFly easy loop has thinnest coverage, best to ski with “rock skis”. Temperatures look to be below freezing Sunday but if the sun is out, the snow will get sticky in the afternoon. Best to ski before 1pm. There is no trail fee to ski the remainder of the year…enjoy and Just Ski!

Bike Trail Report

Bike trails are closed for the season. Once the snow/ice base melts off, frost goes out and trails dry up, we will open again for the dirt season. Typically mid to late April. Thanks to everyone that supported the trails this past winter fat bike riding season.

Ski Trail Report

Trails are now closed. Chance of snow on Saturday. If we do receive significant snow and conditions are right, we will groom in the afternoon and try to have a few trails open Sunday. Stay tuned…

We wrapped up a great week and weekend of skiing on spring like conditions with a beautiful Sunny day on Sunday. Great seeing everyone out this past week. It was a fun week of grooming the corn snow and trying to improve the conditions. We love skiing this time of year and committed to do what we can to keep things going as long as we can safely. The trails are getting close to being free of snow.

Thanks everyone who has supported the trails this season….we hope to see more skiers yet this year for late season skiing!

We started grooming and skiing on November 20th and only missed six days of grooming since that first snowfall

No new snowfall past 24 hours. 39″ of snowfall this season, compacted base on trail 0-5″. Snow depth in woods 0-5″

It was a fun week of grooming the corn snow and trying to improve the conditions. We love skiing this time of year and committed to do what we can to keep things going as long as we can safely. The trails remain fully covered on an ice/slush base. There are skiable sections but out of safety we are closing the trails.

We aren’t calling it a season though since it is early March. Long term forecasts look favorable for snow events and we are ready to groom any snow on a few of the trails if conditions are right.
