Trails are open for skiing. Grooming this morning on Sap Run, Mother Hen, Sukkerbusk, JibFly, Rootin Tootin, Twin Lakes and Roy’s Run for classic. Skaters Waltz 4km loop groomed and open for skating. Looks to warm up quite a bit today, best to be skiing early in the morning and before noon. The new snow will be very slow and sticky once it warms up by noon, as forecasted.
It’s been a great five days of skiing after snow last Friday which was very dense with good moisture. Packed and groomed out very nice and tracks setting up solid. Conditions don’t get much better, specially for mid March! Tuesday felt more like a January day with blustery conditions and snow falling in the afternoon. A great day of skiing nonetheless and awesome to see people out the whole day from early morning until sunset….just like the past five days….Just Ski!
59″ of snow so far this season. We began grooming on November 17th and have been grooming daily on the entire trail system, only missing a few days.

Snowfall YTD at 58″ Compacted base on trail 1-8″. March snowfall 7″. Total snowfall in February at 11″. January at 15″. December: 17″. Snowfall in November: 7″. October precipitation (rain) at 2.7″ and around 1″ in September. Total precipitation ytd (rain) at Maplelag is at 25.12″.
