Ski Trail Report

Trails are open. Late season conditions. A very foggy morning. Temperature right around freezing. The high humidity and dew point keeping the base from freezing down hard, the surface is glazed over. Grooming last night on Rootin Tootin and one track of Sap Run. Best bet for classic skiing is Sukkerbusk, Twin Lakes and Roy’s Run. Use extra caution if skiing today. There are some thin areas in the start area in the exposed open ares on the trails but in the woods the coverage remains good. Looks to be very warm today and tomorrow before cooling down a bit with snow chances on the weekend. We will keep the trails open as long as we feel conditions are safe but use extra caution if skiing.

Skating on Skaters Waltz, the extension loops, North Loup, Single Green, Kristin’s Kutoff and Eira Bikwadinaa Hill. All other trails are tracked for classic skiing. (Please no skating on classic trails) Sukkerbusk is a great starter trail for classic which feeds the outer trails and crosses most of the inner trails providing a good “lay of the land”. One of the first trails at Maplelag!
