A beautiful start to the week with mostly clear skies and calm conditions. Morning low checked in at 29 degrees with thick layer of frost. Although the Fall has been slightly above average in temperatures, we have been cooling down at nights at Maplelag which is good for lowering the soil temperature. Looks like winter weather could move in later this week….stay tuned!

Note: The trails remain closed and will open again Thanksgiving week, weather permitting. (consistent cold weather with frozen ground and hopefully snow!)  Season passes can be purchased here.

We completed the clearing of the trail system with Bullhead Lake trail and Bootleg extension being cleared before deer hunting. Overall it has been a great fall for trail work and we will continue working on the trails near the Maplelag property until the ground freezes and snow flies for good and stays! We try to have the trails as cleared as possible so the frost can set when cold temperatures come and we can groom and open the trails on minimal snow. 

November rainfall total at 1.25″. 2.55″ rainfall in October. Total rainfall in September at .44″. August rainfall at 3.2″. Rainfall the month of July at 5.71″. Total rainfall in June at 7.56″. It was also a very wet month of May with right around 8″ of rain. Since January 1st, we have received almost 29″ of rain.
