Trails are now closed with MN firearm season starting this weekend. In respect of local landowners and guest safety, we close the trails on Maplelag property. Most of last weeks snow has melted off.
A wintery start to November with 3″ of snow one week ago. Snow falling on top of frozen ground and was enough reason for an early season groom! We enjoyed a couple days of early season skiing and good to see a few other people out! After the deer hunting season, we will plan to open the trails again around Thanksgiving time….hopefully for skiing and fat biking!
Even though the final fall trail work is on hold, it is always exciting to see white and gets us excited for the real snow soon to come! Leaf clearing on hold for now but we are still out on the trails clearing deadfall etc.
