Warmer and humid conditions to start the week after .20″ rain overnight. Start of the month has been dry and cool. We have been busy on the trails mowing already with the grass starting to grow nicely and clearing deadfall along the way.
The woods are very lush and green and vibrant with wildflowers and greenery sprouting from the forest floor. Leaves on the trees have come full circle. More birds migrating in and fun to see scarlet tanagers in the forest recently. We have been clearing on the trails and also planting trees for spring trail work.
Ice off Little Sugarbush lake on May 6th.
