Trail Report

A beautiful day out with warmer temps and a bit of sunshine but the snow forecasted last night did not happen. A check of the trails yesterday afternoon found okay coverage but the snow is light and fluffy. About 3″ in the woods. We have packed about 45 km of the trail system to try and set up a little base and prepare the trails for the next snowfall. We have been skiing on the trails and conditions are okay but still hitting the ground from time to time and have to be careful on the downhills, not being able to snowplow etc. Best skiing is on Suicide Hill and trails near there. Skiing on the lakes has been good and there is good coverage on Bullhead and Little Sugarbush lakes with 8-10″ of ice.
