Trails Open! 15km groomed. Reports have been good from riders checking out the recent grooming.
Grooming update: The inner loop, SukkerWest and the original Twin Lakes loop now groomed. Fat Bike trails have been groomed 5-6 times this season. Bootleg on tap for grooming next week.
Signs marking the route for the inner loops are in place and ultimately direct the course for the “FatLagChilada”. Twin lakes and SukkerWest singletrack can be accessed from the driveway. To access the start to access Bootleg, head to the start of Skaters Waltz to the right. We have groomed on the far right side of Suicide Hill for uphill travel. Access to Bootleg has been groomed on the lake. Use trails at own risk and assume all responsibility. Skaters Waltz is open for fat biking when conditions are firm. SukkerWest is recommended trail for beginner riders. Trail difficulty on outer loops is intermediate to advanced.
Trail passes help offset grooming and maintenance costs. Trails have already been groomed multiple times this year. Thank you.

Trails open Happy New Year! Despite a high of only -14 today after a morning low of -35, the trails were busy and the tracks provide good action with nice glide now that they have set up and have been “skied in”. Humidity very low which, along with no wind to speak of, sunshine and faster tracks made for a special day of skiing.
Grooming update: The entire trail system has now been groomed and touch up on select trails occurs daily.

Trails open Fantastic ski and snow conditions. Trails are taking shape nicely after daily full days of grooming the 2 feet of new snow this past week. Even with cooler temps in place, the tracks are seeing good action and the groomers are still getting out in the early morning preparing the deck for the day. The trails remain open during cold weather. Just Ski.

Trails open Beautiful day on the trails. Morning low checked in at -25 but the air was dry, sun was shining and there was no wind making windchill irrelevant. Trails were busy all day with skiers and we were grooming all day again, even with the coldest temps of the season in the morning.
Grooming update: The trails are starting to take shape after full days of grooming the 2 feet of snow the past week. We packed on the northern trails today and will have Roy’s Run tracked on Thursday and North Loup combed out for skate. All western trails tracked today and all inner trails reset as well. We will reset tracks again on most of the trail system tomorrow.
