Trail Report

Cooler weather moving in after a very warm week. Great conditions for final fall grooming on the ski trails. With the unuusally dry conditions this fall, we have been able to clear on the entire trail system after the leaves have come down. Having select trails as clean as possible allows us to open for skiing on minimal snow. Still a few scattered oak trees holding leaves that will come down later otherwise trails are in great shape going into the winter.

With MN firearm season this weekend, next week and following weekend, we have suspended trail work until after deer hunting season The trails are closed to day use until Thanksgiving weekend, weather permitting.

Winter operating plans include to operate for day skiing on the the ski, snowshoe and fat bike trails. Similar to the COVID season, there will be no services available. Parking in the far lot with portable bathrooms. No lodging or meal service.

Ski trail season passes can be purchased on our website. (scroll down to bottom of page) Purchasing season pass now helps with operating and maintenance costs to prepare the trails, equipment repairs to the grooming equipment and property taxes.

Mountain bike trails are now closed for the season and will open again for the winter riding season Thanksgiving weekend, weather permitting.

Mountain Bike Trail Report

Mountain Bike trails are now closed for the “dirt” season. We close the trails out of respect for area landowners and the upcoming deer hunting season and the safety of everyone.

Great seeing everyone out the past two weeks. Nice job to everyone that completed the LagChilada challenge.

The trails will open again for winter riding once the ground is frozen completely and/or snow covered, typically around Thanksgiving. We will plan to groom around 25km of trail that includes the Bootleg Loop, Twin Lakes singletrack loop, a few inner segments and Sukkerwest.

Thanks everyone that helped make it another great season of mountain biking!

Mountain Bike Trail Report

Trails are open. Good to see folks out this weekend enjoying the incredible late season conditions. The entire course has been cleared with leaf blowers the past 7 days. A few pockets some leaves, more on the first half of Twin Lakes singletrack but overall really nice riding for the end of October.

The mountain bike trails will be open today, closing tomorrow November 1st.

Please park in far parking lot by the recycling containers.

Please note we have taken down course marking and many of the signs. Trail maps online and TrailForks.

Ride at own risk and assume all responsibility.
