A nice shot of snow Monday afternoon and evening. Around 7″ of new snow. We are packing the snow today to get the trails in good skiing condition. We packed out Bullhead on Monday afternoon as well completing grooming of the entire trail system. We will set tracks on Bullhead later in the week. We have been grooming daily and will continue to do so on through the Holidays. 5-8″ compacted base. 45km tracked classic only, 15km groomed for skating, Bullhead packed. All trails will be groomed for for classic except Skaters Waltz/ extension, Kristin’s Kutoff, Single and Double green, Suicide Hill and North Loup for skating. Also track to be set on North Loup once we pack down the snow.
The entire trail system is open. 33″ of snowfall this season. The trails are open for day skiing and the current fee is $15 to use the trails for the day. (Maplelag ski reports on skinnyski and link to share ski experience!)

8″ of new snow Monday afternoon and evening as Bullhead lake trail was packed for the first time this year. The entire trail system is now open. A few rough spots on Bullhead but skiable throughout. Full trail report on the trail report page.
Photos from ski camp weekend December 17th-20th. Members of the skinnyski.com ski team conducted clinics along with UWGB student Steve Gromatcka helping. Time trials, ski games also activities part of the fun and ski learning experience.
A great weekend of skiing. About as good as it gets. Light fluffy snow fell most of the day Friday and Saturday, accumulating to an inch or two. Sunday clearing with sunshine off and on. Ideal conditions for the ski camp. (click here for more photos) We have been grooming around 30km of trail each morning, working in the new snow and cleaning up the tracks and skate fairways. 60 of 64km open. 4-6″ compacted base. 45km tracked classic only, 15km groomed for skating. We are grooming Sukkerbusk, Mother Hen, Sap Run, Twin Lakes, Wavy Gravy, Island Lake, Rootin Tootin, JibFly, Mother North Star and Lucky’s Loype for classic and Skaters Waltz/ extension, Kristin’s Kutoff, Single and Double green, Suicide Hill and North Loup for skating.
The entire trail system is open except for the east side (4km) of Bullhead lake trail. The east side is closed until colder weather, which will freeze the thin ice areas. A nice start to the season with 24″ of snow this season, so far. The trails are open for day skiing and the current fee is $10 to use the trails until December 20th the fee will go to $15 (Maplelag ski reports on skinnyski and link to share ski experience!)
