Heavy wet snow this morning accumulating to around 3-4″. Skiing was slow going but bottom line we could still ski! With today’s snow we are now up to 106″ of snowfall on the season. The snow and base is very wet and once it cools down again we will try and get one or two more grooming sessions in for the season. Looking at the forecast, best chance for grooming appears to be on Thursday. If cooler temps occur in the forecast we could have a couple nice mornings of skiing on Friday and Saturday, especially if more snow develops.
Monday was another spectacular end of season skiing after a hard freeze set the base up nicely. Skiing was very good from 10am-12pm before getting softer and slower.

Winter returns! Around 8” of new snow as of 8am with a couple more inches forecasted this morning. We will be packing on 9km of trail today focusing on 4km of Skaters Waltz and the 5km loop of North Loup. With warmer weather in the forecast we will not be setting tracks and grooming freestyle only. With new snow this time of year timing is critical to get the most out of the snow. Skiing earlier will be best. Latter will be slow and soft and make ruts for the next morning. We look to freeze down the next few mornings and should have a few good mornings to ski
Trails will remain open. There is no trail fee remainder of season. Please park in parking lot near lodge.
With this snowfall we have surpassed 100” of snowfall on the season bringing total to 104”.
Trails Open Great seeing folks out this weekend to enjoy the end of season conditions. Trails remain open for those looking for one last ski. No grooming planned unless new snow. Variable conditions with unmarked obstacles. Use caution and assume all risk and responsibility
Best skiing has been trails we recently groomed, the east side of Sukkerbusk (classic), a shortened loop of Skaters Waltz (bypassing Kamikaze segment) and North Loup. North Loup has been groomed for both skate and classic. Few thin areas and one short bare section on North Loup otherwise fully covered. Snow is dirty but skiable. Most recent grooming on Friday and Saturday morning.
No trail fee the remainder of the season. Park in far parking lot near porta potties/redycyling bins or along driveway where drier.
Closed for the season for lodging.
