Maplelag offers year round lodging with full kitchens in the Candy Store, Six Swedes lodge, Big Dipper (formally the Lapland cabin) and Norwegian Log cabin and now the original main house “MapleHus”. The Orange and Red Caboose have kitchenettes. More details on each cabin on the Lodging page and check availability online.
We recently added another wood fired sauna to Maplelag to serve the lodging guests on the newly remodeled cabins, Candy Store, Big Dipper, and the two cabooses. A simplistic but modern design, the sauna features a wood fired stove to heat the main room and lighting/ventilation generated by solar.
Every day is a great day to sauna and combined with a dip in the nearby Little Sugarbush lake, a rejuvenating and relaxing experiencing any time of the day and year!
The bike trails open for riding. Latest report on the mountain bike trail report

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jim Richards, whom was a co-founder of Maplelag.
Jim was surrounded by family and friends as he took his last breath on earth, after suffering a stroke four weeks ago.
Jim had exceptional vision to create a magical place in the forest, along the shores of Little Sugarbush, a retreat that has been enjoyed by 100’s of thousands of people from skiing, biking, weddings, retreats and language learning. His work ethic and adventurous spirit will continue to be present as Maplelag moves forward in this next chapter. A special tree grove memorial will be constructed this fall. There was a private celebration of life at Maplelag in August. Obituary posted here.
