White Earth Land Recovery-Indigenous Farming Conference
From the WELRP website: “This year’s conference will focus on work to restore Indigenous food varieties in our region, work to restore our food systems in our area (from farm to school programs to tribal food security overall). We will be featuring some great technical innovations like tunnel garden projects, green house opportunities, raised beds, mushroom cultivation and organic farming. As in past years, we will conduct workshops at the conference to strengthen our ties to our traditional farming practices including seed saving, soil preservation, insect control and others. We also invite you to bring any traditional seeds you may be willing to share.”
