Ski Trail Report

Trails are open. Grooming today on select inner trails. Recommend classic skiing on trails with machine set tracks: Sap Run, JibFly, Mother Hen and Sukkerbusk. Skating recommend on Skater Waltz and the extension of Skater Waltz. Please do not skate on trails outside of Skaters Waltz and Skaters Waltz extension. Thank you! With warmer weather possible on the weekend, please try to ski in the mornings to help preserve the base and better skiing!

Mother North Star and Rootin Tootin have been packed and combed for no track classic skiing. The west trails are also open for no track classic skiing but use extra caution if venturing over there if there are a few more rough/thin areas, especially on Twin Lakes. Overall nice skiing to be had, use a little extra caution when venturing out. North Loup and Roy’s run have been packed and groomed but closed until we get a few more inches of snow and can provide safer skiing.

Early season conditions. We have been grooming daily and skiing since November 20th. 10″ of snowfall this season, compacted base on trail 1-3″. The ground was very warm when the first snow fell and much melted off but grooming and cold temps helping set frost into the ground. Snow depth in woods 4-5″.

Please do not skate on trails outside of Skaters Waltz and Skaters Waltz extension. Thank you!

Ski Trail Report

Trails are open. After a wild Wednesday with blizzard like conditions, wind slowly settling down and a nice winter day on tap. The wind yesterday brought down a lot of twigs and branches but we are clearing them off. We did groom during the storm yesterday, setting new track on JibFly, Sap Run and Sukkerbusk and combing out Skaters Waltz and Eira Bikwadinaa Hill. We are back out today grooming, setting track on Sap Run, Sukkerbusk again and combing out the trails we rollpacked on Tuesday.

Recommend skiing on Sap Run, JibFly, Mother Hen and Sukkerbusk for classic and Skater Waltz for skating. To bypass the thinner Kamikaze hill segment, use Sap Run for a connector. Skaters Extension also open which is very skiable, just some grass poking through here and there. The west trails are open but use extra caution if venturing over there if there are a few more rough/thin areas. Overall nice skiing to be had, use a little extra caution when venturing out.

Early season conditions. We have been grooming and skiing since November 20th.

Thank you!North Loup and Roy’s run have been packed and groomed but close until we get a few more inches of snow and can provide safer skiing.
