Fat Bike Trail Report

Twin Lakes singletrack is open for riding. Some of the best riding conditions of the year, doesn’t get much better.  Deck is rock solid, level and great traction. Groomed this past Tuesday afternoon by Ben, touching up the edges and drifted areas. The trail has been groomed a half dozen times in total this season.

Please do not ride the trail with a regular mountain bike as it damages the trail.

Once again we are grooming the Twin Lakes loop for fat biking. This is the third year of fat bike grooming at Maplelag.  Thanks Ben Olson for taking on the volunteer role to do this. We also have plans to have a groomed beginner loop closer to Maplelag. Trail fee is winter pass, good for the season.  Trail fees help cover grooming and property tax expenses. To access the trail, take either loon return ski trail to access the start of the bridge section for twin lakes or take the driveway all the way down to the bridge section and enter where the orange cones are.
