Nord Ord
It was a hot and dry summer and during those months of sweltering in 100 degree temps you can not but think about the
cooler months ahead. Here we are in November as we wait for the early snow. As mentioned in the Happy Trails page,
we have done quite a few improvements to the trails and overall skiing experience at Maplelag. We are really looking forward to the
new "Nordic Fun" area. Last year Fischer skis came out with a ski called the jib skate. The jib skate ski is a twin tip ski that was designed for
doing tricks and jumps. We will have a couple pair of these skis for anyone who is interested in trying the skis. (Jake catching air with the Jib Skates last year)
 Other Nord Ord news (Nord Ord is a rough translation
for Cross Country ski news btw) will be the addition of more Fischer Nordic Cruiser skis in the rental shop. This ski has worked very nice in a rental application and
the feedback has been good. We are excited for the winter season and hope to see you on the trails!! Think Snow!! |
