Photo taken on November 30th, 2006 of a "frost flower" A cold night with no snow provided the right conditions for thousand of frost flowers to form on Little Sugarbush which is the lake the Maplelag sits on. This was an unusual situation as the wind and snow can prevent frost from forming on the lake and with the sunlight, it was a morning to remember.

Photo taken on February 23rd, 2006 of the sunrise highlighting a frosty morning as seen from Sap Run ski trail. February is a great month for hoar frost.

Photo taken on February 3rd 2006 on North Loup. Mid season, North Loup is groomed for skate and classic skiing. February is typically the best month to ski with longer and warmer days and usually a good base of snow. Grooming fresh tracks on a clear morning is a highlight of the winter.
