Fall Highlights with Fall color photos, 2006Another busy Fall season at Maplelag with the annual Laddies Loppet mountain bike stage race weekend, weddings, scrabooking retreats, conferences and meetings. Although we had a dry summer, we were treated to a another beautiful array of fall colors around the Maplelag complex and in the woods on the trails. Speaking of trails, we built a new intermediate ski trail around 3km in length, widened the soccer field and created a "Nordic Fun area", finished the Argentinean bbq "parrilla" and have plans to fine tune the start and finish areas of Twin Lakes, Island Lake and Wavy Gravy trails yet this Fall as of November 12th, 2006. Also work was performed on the new "Candy Store" cabin as we strive to complete it before the winter season.
