The first weekend in December we were hosts to another wedding. Since the bride and groom were accomplished skiers, we were hoping for good snow this weekend. Although, skiing was possible on the lake, the weekend was a lot of fun for all who attended regardless of the snow conditions. Just about every one who attended the wedding, stayed overnight, making it feel like a big family reunion. Below is a e-mail we received from one of the guests who attended the weekend:

"Dear, Jim & Mary, Jay & Jonell

We just wanted to send you a note to say what a wonderful time we had staying at your resort for the wedding this past weekend. We enjoyed everything, especially the atmosphere. During the entire weekend we never felt like we were at a "hotel". It was like staying with friends and family in an oversized home. You all did such a great job of making everything look so easy and feel so comfortable.

Our little son, Kristofer loved your cookies! He also loved your dog, Lucky. Lucky was great with all the kids and he even accompanied me on a run early Sunday morning. So, like I said, it was more like staying with family than being at a resort.

Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts!

Jens Niklas was born December 14th at 1:15am. He weighed 7# 4oz. Here is on December 16th taking a big yawn. This makes 8 grandsons for Jim and Mary!!!

The cushions for the built in couches should be here before Christmas and then the carpet will be the remaining project. Let it snow!!!
